Foresight would mainly fit a spell-heavy Shadow Priest or combo Priest deck that can reliably follow it with a powerful Shadow spell—especially one that benefits from being cast twice—but it is too slow and conditional for ordinary Shadow Priest, which generally wants cheaper proactive cards. Its first effect is effectively a three-mana draw with a discount, while the repeat clause requires you to play the right type of spell afterward, making it vulnerable to awkward draws; cards such as `Thrive in the Shadows` provide cheaper, more reliable spell access, while `Palm Reading` offers broader discounts and value, and `Insight` is better draw when a minion package is involved. Unless the deck has a strong repeatable Shadow-spell combo or unusually valuable targets, Foresight probably should not see competitive play.
