Holy Bola would fit best in a low-curve Paladin deck—such as Aggro, Pure, or Dude Paladin—where a large portion of the deck costs 2 or less, maximizing the chance to chain the second draw and efficiently refill your hand while maintaining tempo. It synergizes especially well in lists packed with cheap minions, buffs, and utility spells, effectively acting as conditional card draw that rewards tight deck construction. However, compared to historically stronger and more consistent Paladin draw options like Divine Favor (in aggressive metas), Hand of A’dal (which provides both draw and board impact), or even neutral tools like Loot Hoarder–style cycle with body presence, Holy Bola may be less reliable unless the deck is heavily optimized for it. Overall, it could see play in aggressive or low-curve Paladin builds if the meta rewards fast cycling, but it would likely not outperform more impactful or guaranteed value draw cards unless the deck is specifically tuned to exploit its condition.
