Mechacycle would fit best in a slower Mech Hunter or Deathrattle Hunter deck that wants a durable Taunt and additional board generation after trading, but it is unlikely to be a strong competitive choice: paying four mana for a Taunt whose value arrives only after it dies is too slow, and random Mechs can produce inconsistent results. In most decks, more proactive options such as Security Automaton, Ursatron, Spider Bomb, or Zilliax Deluxe 3000 are better because they provide immediate pressure, card advantage, removal, or flexible defensive value; historically, Piloted Shredder was also generally stronger as a four-mana Deathrattle minion because its random two-mana minion appeared immediately and was more reliable. Mechacycle could be playable in a budget or heavily synergistic Mech list, but unless the metagame is slow or its stats are unusually strong, it should not see serious play.
