Mindrot Subjugator best fits a board-flooding Warlock deck, especially one that can leave disposable Imps or low-stat tokens on either side before playing it, since converting two small minions into additional Subjugators can create a sudden, durable board; it is much less useful in decks that play only one minion per turn or rely on specific minion effects, because those can be overwritten. Its value depends heavily on its own stats, but it competes poorly with more immediately reliable board-payoff cards such as Forge of Wills, which produces large copies without requiring adjacent minions, and token-focused options such as Impending Catastrophe or Mischievous Imp when the goal is simply to build a wide board.
