Obsessive Technician would primarily fit into a slower, value-oriented Death Knight deck that can consistently leverage the **Herald** effect (which typically activates or advances a payoff tied to specific deck-building conditions, such as rune requirements or repeated triggers), making it most at home in Control or Midrange Blood/Unholy hybrid builds that appreciate **Lifesteal** for sustain and incremental advantage from Battlecry synergies (like bounce, Battlecry duplication, or corpse interactions). However, at 4 mana, a Lifesteal body without strong immediate board impact tends to be underwhelming unless the Herald payoff is game-swinging, and Death Knight already has stronger stabilizing options such as **Gnome Muncher** (for removal plus Lifesteal pressure) or efficient corpse-spending swing cards in Blood builds; if the Herald effect is slow or conditional, this card likely becomes too low-tempo for competitive play. Overall, it could see niche play in synergy-heavy Herald dec
