Blackwing Experiment fits best in an aggressive or tempo-focused Death Knight deck—especially Unholy or Frost builds—that can consistently buff minion Attack, since its Deathrattle scales with its current Attack to generate a 2-Cost damage spell, giving you efficient reach, removal, or burst from hand after it dies. It synergizes particularly well in decks that use handbuffs or board buffs to increase its Attack before trading it off, effectively turning it into extra burn. However, compared to staple 2-cost Death Knight cards like Harbinger of Winter (for Frost consistency), Battlefield Necromancer (for Unholy swarm value), or even generically strong early-game neutrals, Blackwing Experiment is more situational and less consistent unless you are specifically building around Attack scaling. As a result, it’s a niche synergy card rather than a must-include, and it should only see play in aggressive or buff-centric lists that can reliably amplify its Deathrattle value.
