Chrome Dome would fit best in an aggressive or midrange artifact-based deck, especially one that floods the board with cheap artifact creatures (like Thopters, Myr, Construct tokens, or cheap utility artifacts) and wants an anthem-style power boost to push damage; it’s particularly appealing in go-wide artifact aggro, token-focused builds, or combo shells that can exploit temporary artifact copies for value (for example, copying a powerful noncreature artifact for a burst of advantage). However, at three total mana for a +1/+0 anthem that only affects artifact creatures, it competes with stronger, more efficient options like Steel Overseer (which permanently grows your board), Chief of the Foundry (a cheaper +1/+1 anthem), or Urza, Lord High Artificer and The Mightstone and Weakstone in higher-powered formats, which provide immediate and scalable value; even cards like Nettlecyst or Cranial Plating often close games faster.
