A deck that focuses on board control and tempo would benefit from including Cleave, as it provides a cost-effective way to deal damage to multiple enemy minions at once. While Cleave is a solid card for its mana cost, there are better options available such as Warpath, which deals 1 damage to all minions and can be more versatile in various situations. However, Cleave can still see play in decks that require efficient removal options and can fit well in a budget or beginner deck.
