Destroy Evil is a versatile removal spell that can be useful in a white control deck looking to deal with threats efficiently. While it offers flexibility in being able to target both creatures and enchantments, there are more efficient options available such as Swords to Plowshares or Disenchant, which offer better value for their mana cost. However, Destroy Evil could still see play in a deck that values its flexibility and wants access to targeted removal for both creature and enchantment threats.
