Decks that aim to slow down the opponent's game plan by removing key cards from their hand would find Distress useful. However, there are more efficient options like Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek, which provide more flexibility or additional benefits. While Distress can be a decent budget option, it may not see play in more competitive decks due to the availability of stronger alternatives.
