Hobblefiend would be a great fit in a red aggressive deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures for value. However, in more competitive Magic: The Gathering formats, there are likely better options available for a similar strategy, such as Young Pyromancer or Dreadhorde Arcanist, which offer more immediate impact or card advantage.
