Ice Out would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's spells. While the Bargain ability can potentially reduce its cost, there are more efficient counterspells available in Magic: the Gathering, such as Counterspell or Mana Leak, which offer more flexibility and reliability. Ice Out may not see much play in competitive decks due to its higher cost and conditional discount.
