Inherited Envelope could be beneficial in a multicolor deck that requires fixing mana, as it provides flexibility by generating any color of mana when tapped. However, there are better options available such as the popular land cards like Shock Lands or Fetch Lands, which provide more consistent mana fixing and additional benefits. Inherited Envelope may not see much play in competitive decks due to its higher cost and limited utility compared to other mana fixing options available in Magic: the Gathering.
