Snake Trap is a strong addition to aggro or tempo Hunter decks that focus on board control and aggressive minion play. While there may be situational cards that serve different purposes more effectively, such as Explosive Trap for wider board control or Freezing Trap for tempo swings, Snake Trap can still have its niche in certain Hunter builds and is worth considering for decks that emphasize minion pressure and board dominance.
