Unlikely Aid is a versatile card that can be beneficial in a variety of decks, particularly in aggressive black-based strategies looking to protect key creatures and push through damage. While it provides a temporary boost and indestructibility, there are arguably better options like Kaya's Ghostform or Supernatural Stamina that offer similar effects with additional utility or recursion. However, Unlikely Aid can still find a place in decks focused on aggressive combat strategies or protecting key threats from removal spells.
