While there may be more efficient options available, such as fetch lands or other dual lands with additional benefits, Witch's Cottage could still see play in decks looking to maximize graveyard synergies and mana production in a swamp-heavy environment.

An Island is a land with the subtype Island, not any land that could produce blue mana. For example, Mystic Sanctuary is an Island, but Castle Vantress isn’t.
