Wildpaw Gnoll would be beneficial in a tempo or aggro Rogue deck that includes non-Rogue Class cards to reduce its cost and take advantage of its Rush ability. However, there are better cards like SI:7 Agent or Hench-Clan Thug that offer immediate value and are more consistent in a Rogue deck, making Wildpaw Gnoll less likely to see play in competitive decks unless the meta shifts towards a more control-oriented playstyle.
