While the Miniaturize Taunt and Deathrattle summoning a 4/4 Whelp with Elusive provide good defensive and offensive capabilities, there may be better options available such as Convincing Infiltrator for a similar mana cost with more immediate impact. However, Clay Matriarch could see play in specific Priest decks looking for additional value and board presence.
