Crackling Cloudstrider would fit best in a tempo or combo-oriented Shaman deck that runs a high density of impactful spells costing (4) or less—such as burn (Lightning Bolt), removal (Hex, Frostbite), or swing tools (Primordial Wave, Feral Spirit)—so that its Deathrattle generates meaningful delayed value; it particularly suits spell-heavy Elemental or spell-damage Shaman builds that can control when it dies (via trades or self-damage effects) to trigger the stored spell at a key moment. However, its delayed payoff and vulnerability to silence make it slower and less reliable than many staple Shaman cards like Command of Neptulon, Lightning Storm, or Crash of Thunder in spell lists, and it competes with stronger 3-drops that provide immediate board impact.
