Deadshot Minotaur would be a great addition to a midrange or aggressive red-green deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a solid body with a useful ability to deal with flying threats. However, in a competitive setting, there are better options available such as Flametongue Kavu, which offers a similar effect but with a larger impact on the board. Deadshot Minotaur could see play in more casual or budget decks where its cycling ability can help with card draw and flexibility.

Cycling is an activated ability. Effects that interact with activated abilities (such as Stifle or Rings of Brighthearth) will interact with cycling. Effects that interact with spells (such as Remove Soul or Faerie Tauntings) will not.
