Doommaiden would be particularly beneficial in a control or mill deck, where the strategy revolves around exhausting the opponent's resources and hand size, as well as potentially stealing key cards to disrupt their game plan. While there are other cards that can draw from the opponent's deck, such as Hakkar, the Soulflayer for a more aggressive mill strategy or Thief minions like Shadowjeweler Hanar for generating value, Doommaiden's low cost and ability to put the card back if not played can provide flexibility. Overall, it could see play in specific decks focused on disruption, but its effectiveness would depend on the current meta and available synergies.
