This card, Evasion Protocol, would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on cycling cards to trigger various effects. Decks that utilize a lot of cycling cards, such as control or tempo decks, would find value in being able to repeatedly exile and return their own creatures or artifacts for strategic advantage. While Evasion Protocol offers flexibility, there are potentially better options like Astral Drift or Astral Slide which provide similar effects with additional benefits, making them more popular choices in competitive play. However, Evasion Protocol could still see play in more casual or budget decks looking for a similar effect at a lower cost.
