Evershrike’s Gift would fit best in an Orzhov (white‑black) aggressive or aristocrats-style deck that can exploit -1/-1 counter synergies or creatures that benefit from being weakened or dying (such as creatures with undying, persist, death triggers, or counter-manipulation themes), since its recursive ability lets you repeatedly reuse the Aura for steady pressure and evasion; it could also function in a low-curve flying aggro deck that values cheap, repeatable buffs. However, compared to more efficient and impactful Auras like All That Glitters (which can grant a much larger power boost), Ethereal Armor (scales aggressively in enchantment-heavy decks), Gryff’s Boon (cheap and recurable without shrinking your own board), or even Sentinel’s Eyes, this card is generally underpowered because +1/+0 and flying is modest for the cost and repeatedly placing -1/-1 counters on your own creatures is a real drawback unless heavily synergized.
