Goldhound would be a great addition to a red aggressive deck looking to ramp up mana quickly while applying pressure with its first strike and menace abilities. However, there are better options like Goblin Guide or Monastery Swiftspear that offer more consistent aggression and value in a similar mana cost range, making Goldhound less likely to see play in competitive decks.
