Improbable Alliance would be a great fit for a tempo or control deck that focuses on drawing cards and generating incremental advantage. It synergizes well with cards that allow for consistent card draw and can help maintain board presence with the Faerie tokens. While there may be more powerful card draw engines available in Magic: the Gathering, such as cards like Jace, the Mind Sculptor or Teferi, Time Raveler, Improbable Alliance can still be a valuable inclusion in the right deck, especially in a Standard format where it can provide a steady stream of threats and card advantage.
