The Lightspawn card would be beneficial in a Priest deck that focuses on buffing its Health to increase its Attack power. This card synergizes well with cards that can increase its Health, such as Power Word: Shield or Divine Spirit. However, there are better cards like Injured Blademaster or Northshire Cleric that offer more versatility and value in a Priest deck, so Lightspawn may not see much play in competitive decks unless in a specific combo-oriented strategy.
