This card would be beneficial in a multicolor control deck that aims to have access to different types of mana early in the game while also having the option to cycle it away for a new card if needed. However, there are better options available such as the original dual lands or shock lands that provide more flexibility and come into play untapped. Raffine's Tower may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limitations compared to other mana-fixing options.
