Raincaller would fit best in an aggressive or tempo-focused Mage deck—especially one that runs a high density of cheap spells (like Arcane Missiles, First Flame, or cheap burn and ping effects) to reliably trigger its +2 Attack each turn and pressure the board early. It could also slot into Elemental Mage builds if tribal synergy matters, but its effect mainly rewards consistent spell damage rather than elemental synergy specifically. However, compared to stronger Mage tempo staples like Mana Wyrm (in Wild), Arcanologist, or more modern spell-synergy threats that gain permanent stats or provide immediate value, Raincaller is relatively slow and conditional since it requires setup and only gains temporary Attack, making it vulnerable to removal before generating meaningful impact.
