**Ball and Chain** would fit best in an aggressive or midrange Warrior deck that deliberately keeps its minions damaged to activate synergies—such as Enrage Warrior or self-damage Warrior builds that use cards like *Anima Extractor*, *Imbued Axe*, or minions with Enrage effects that benefit from surviving trades. The Deathrattle buff (+1/+2) rewards wide boards of already-damaged minions, making it strongest in token-heavy or swarm-based Warrior lists rather than control archetypes. However, it competes with stronger, more immediate board-impact cards like *Imbued Axe* (which repeatedly buffs damaged minions and has immediate influence) or classic Warrior powerhouses that provide direct tempo or burst value.
