Sandcrafter would fit best in a slower value-oriented or midrange Paladin deck that can protect an assembled minion and exploit repeated end-of-turn effects, rather than in aggressive Paladin, where spending two mana on a potentially random delayed payoff may lose too much tempo; however, based on the text alone, it is unlikely to see serious play unless its body is unusually strong or the assembled minion is reliably powerful, because randomness and delayed value are significant weaknesses. More consistent options such as **Hand of A’dal** for immediate stats and card draw, or a reliable Paladin two-drop that develops a solid body, are generally better in most decks, while dedicated control or value lists might still test Sandcrafter if the Assemble pool contains premium effects.
