However, because the effect is random and tied to Deathrattle timing, it’s generally weaker than more consistent Pure Paladin payoff cards like **Lightforged Zealot**, **Lightforged Crusader**, or **The Countess**, which provide immediate and more reliable value or board impact. As a 2‑cost minion it would need strong stats to justify inclusion, but based on effect alone it’s likely too low-impact and inconsistent for competitive play, meaning it would rarely see play unless the meta strongly favors grindy value games and Pure Paladin lacks better options.
