A deck focused on landfall triggers and token generation, such as a green ramp or landfall deck in Magic: the Gathering, would benefit from including Sporemound. While Sporemound can create a steady stream of Saproling tokens, there are more efficient options like Avenger of Zendikar which creates larger tokens and has a bigger impact on the board. Sporemound could see play in more casual or budget decks, but competitive decks might opt for stronger token generators.
