Stone Gauntlet would mainly benefit a slow Control or Fatigue Warrior deck that attacks frequently with its hero and wants to turn Health into Armor for synergies such as Shield Slam or other Armor-based effects, but it offers little to aggressive, Enrage, or tempo Warrior decks because converting 5 Health into 5 Armor does not increase your effective survivability. Cards such as Shield Block are generally better because they provide Armor while also drawing a card, while reliable weapons like Fiery War Axe or stronger modern Warrior weapons usually offer more immediate board control and value. Unless the card has unusually strong weapon stats or supports a specific Armor-focused strategy, Stone Gauntlet should probably not see competitive play: its effect is conditional, does not generate real defensive value by itself, and costs you an attack opportunity or a better weapon slot.
