While it provides evasion with flying and can gain vigilance and lifelink for added resilience, there may be better options like Skymarcher Aspirant or Adanto Vanguard that offer more aggressive stats or abilities. Sunmane Pegasus could see play in a more casual or budget deck, but in competitive settings, it might be outclassed by more efficient creatures.
