This card would be beneficial in a red aggressive deck that focuses on quickly building a board presence and applying pressure on the opponent. The ability to create a 4/4 flying Dragon token upon entering the battlefield when kicked provides additional value and threat to the board. While there may be other powerful cards in the same mana cost range, such as Glorybringer, Verix Bladewing can still be a strong inclusion in decks looking to close out games quickly with flying threats.
