This Sunfury Champion card would be a great fit for a control or tempo deck that focuses on utilizing Fire spells for board control. It could work well in a Mage or Shaman deck that has a good mix of Fire spells to trigger its effect consistently. However, there are better cards like Flamewaker or Daring Fire-Eater that offer more immediate impact or value, so Sunfury Champion may not see much play in competitive decks unless the meta shifts to favor its unique effect.
