About Lightning Storm
Lightning Storm, Normal spell card, designed by Konami first released in Jun, 2022 in the set Ignition Assault Special Edition.
AI: A deck that focuses on clearing the opponent's field and maintaining board control, such as a control or stun deck, would greatly benefit from using Lightning Storm. While there may be other cards like Raigeki or Dark Hole that offer similar board-clearing effects, Lightning Storm's versatility in being able to target both monsters and spells/traps makes it a valuable addition to such decks. Its restriction of requiring no face-up cards can be easily met in these types of strategies, making it a strong contender for inclusion in competitive play.
