Deft Duelist, Creature — human rogue, designed by David Palumbo first released in Oct, 2008 in the set Shards of Alara and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Deft Duelist would be a great addition to a control deck in Magic: the Gathering, as its First Strike and Shroud abilities make it difficult for opponents to deal with in combat or target with removal spells. However, there are better options like Geist of Saint Traft, which not only has hexproof but also creates a 4/4 Angel token when it attacks. Deft Duelist could see play in specific metas where protection from targeted removal is crucial, but in most cases, there are more powerful options available.
