About Attentive Tender
Attentive Tender, Minion, designed by Max Grecke first released in September 2026 in the set Reign of the Black Empire.
Attentive Tender would mainly benefit a low-curve, tempo-oriented Demon Hunter deck that wants to develop a body while generating another cheap minion—especially a token, swarm, or minion-synergy list that can use the extra 1-Cost minion for board pressure, buffs, or sacrifice effects. However, paying 3 mana for a likely modest minion plus an inconsistent 1-Cost minion is not especially efficient unless the assembled minion has strong synergy or the Tender’s stats are above average; more reliable options such as **Vicious Slitherspear** for aggressive early pressure, **Wayward Sage** for mana-cheating tempo, or current three-mana Demon Hunter cards that provide immediate damage, card draw, or stronger board impact would generally be better. It should probably not see competitive play in normal Demon Hunter lists, though it could be reasonable in a dedicated Assemble/token deck or in slower, value-focused Demon Hunter builds if the generated minion is consistently powerful.
