About Bygone Echoes
Bygone Echoes, Spell, designed by Grafit first released in Jan, 2026 in the set Across the Timeways.
Bygone Echoes would fit best in a midrange or tempo-oriented Death Knight/Demon Hunter deck that can reliably generate Corpses—most realistically a Death Knight–leaning shell with strong early minion presence (such as Unholy DK or a Corpse-generating hybrid) while taking advantage of Demon Hunter’s Outcast positioning for maximum value; the card offers up to three random 4-Cost minions for 5 mana, which is solid board development if you can consistently trigger both the Corpse spend and Outcast, making it strongest in proactive, board-flooding strategies rather than control. However, its randomness and setup requirements make it less consistent than premium 5-drops or corpse payoffs like Grave Strength (for Unholy swarm lethality) or Army of the Dead–style high-impact corpse spenders, and Demon Hunter typically prefers more synergistic or burst-oriented plays over random value boards. Overall, it could see niche play in a corpse-heavy tempo list that can reliably activate all condition
