Double Cross Strap fits best in aggressive, go‑wide Ninja decks like Katsu, Ira, or Fai that reliably hit two or more times in a combat chain and want a surprise resource to extend a combo turn, fix awkward pitch, or threaten on‑hit reactions while also providing incidental Arcane Barrier 1 into arcane matchups. It is most effective in low‑curve, tempo‑focused builds that can trigger it consistently, but it generally competes with **Fyendal’s Spring Tunic**, which is stronger in longer games due to repeatable resource generation, and sometimes with **Heartened Cross Strap**, which offers a bigger one‑turn resource boost for certain combo lines.
