About Entropic Rift
Entropic Rift, Spell, designed by Luke Mancini first released in September 2026 in the set Reign of the Black Empire.
Entropic Rift would best fit a slower Shadow Priest, control Priest, or spell-based combo deck that benefits from generating extra spells and has enough room to capitalize on unpredictable resources; at only one mana, receiving two Shadow Spells offers strong flexibility and can support spell-count, Shadow-spell, or discover-related synergies, but the randomness may produce low-impact cards and it does not immediately affect the board. More reliable options such as Shadow Visions, which lets you discover a specific spell from your deck, or Thrive in the Shadows, which provides targeted spell selection, are generally better when consistency matters, while stronger tempo or removal cards are preferable in aggressive Priest decks. Entropic Rift should see play only if the current Shadow Priest card pool rewards generating Shadow Spells or if the random pool is unusually powerful; otherwise, it is a fun value card but probably too inconsistent to become a staple.
