About Gainsay
Gainsay, Instant, designed by Roger Raupp first released in Feb, 2001 in the set Planeshift and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
This card, Gainsay, would be a valuable addition to a control deck in Magic: the Gathering, particularly in matchups against blue-heavy decks where countering spells is crucial. While Gainsay is effective at countering blue spells, it may not be as versatile as other options like Negate or Mana Leak, which can counter spells of any color or type. However, in a meta dominated by blue spells, Gainsay could certainly see play as a sideboard option to gain a strategic advantage.
