Hungry Dragon could be useful in aggressive tempo decks looking to apply early pressure, as it provides a solid body for its cost. However, the downside of giving your opponent a 1-cost minion could be detrimental, especially in control matchups where the opponent could benefit more from the additional minion. Decks that rely on board control or have ways to deal with the opponent's 1-cost minion efficiently might find better alternatives to Hungry Dragon, such as more consistent and less risky cards like Faerie Dragon or Wyrmrest Agent.
