About Iso'rath
Iso'rath, Minion, designed by Alex Horley Orlandelli first released in Feb, 2026 in the set CATACLYSM.
Iso’rath would fit best in a slow, control-oriented Rogue deck—such as a Control or Disruption (sometimes called “Mill” or “Hand Control”) Rogue—that aims to stall the game, deny key combo pieces, and win through attrition rather than tempo, because temporarily devouring two random cards can disrupt combo decks and reduce the opponent’s playable resources for two full turns; however, since the cards are returned on Deathrattle and the effect is random, it lacks consistency and permanent value compared to stronger Rogue disruption tools like Dirty Rat (which can permanently pull and potentially kill a combo piece), Theotar, the Mad Duke (which can steal a key card outright), or Mutanus the Devourer (which permanently eats a minion), making Iso’rath more of a niche tech choice rather than a staple—playable in a combo-heavy meta where stalling two turns matters, but generally weaker than existing disruption options and unlikely to see consistent competitive play.
