About Pressure Point
Pressure Point, Instant, designed by Chase Stone first released in Jan, 2015 in the set Fate Reforged and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
A white control or tempo deck could benefit from using Pressure Point in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a cheap way to tap down a threatening creature while replacing itself with a card draw. However, there are better options available, such as Path to Exile or Swords to Plowshares, which offer more versatile removal. Pressure Point may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited impact compared to other removal spells available.
Rules
09/25/20
If the target creature is an illegal target by the time Pressure Point tries to resolve, the spell doesn’t resolve. You don’t draw a card. If the target is legal but doesn’t become tapped (most likely because it’s already tapped), you do draw a card.
