Raith Van Geist would mainly benefit a dedicated Reborn Priest deck built around sticky minions, especially Reborn Deathrattles that can repeatedly trade into enemy boards; however, Priest has relatively few strong Reborn targets, and the card is highly dependent on drawing and losing those minions first, while its random attacks can waste value or fail against unfavorable boards. In most decks, better options are `Mass Resurrection` for a more reliable wide resurrection, `Eternal Servitude` for cheaper targeted resurrection, or `Xyrella, the Devout` for a stronger late-game control payoff, depending on the format. Raith Van Geist should probably not see competitive play unless a Reborn-focused Priest archetype receives substantial support, because seven mana is expensive for an effect that is narrow, conditional, and vulnerable to silence, transformation, or having too few suitable minions die.
