Runi, Temporal Guardian would fit best in a slow, value-oriented Paladin deck that runs high-impact minions with strong static effects or powerful on-board presence—think midrange or control Paladin lists that don’t rely heavily on immediate Battlecry effects, since sending minions “into the future” delays tempo and causes you to miss Battlecry triggers when they return (unless specifically stated otherwise). Decks built around sticky threats, big taunt minions, or minions that scale well with stats (like ones with Divine Shield, Lifesteal, or Rush) would benefit most from the +5/+5 buff, effectively turning future turns into massive swing turns. However, the two-turn delay is a significant tempo loss in faster metas, making the card risky compared to more immediate buff or cheat tools like Garden’s Grace, The Countess, or Order in the Court setups that provide instant or more reliable value.
