About SI:7 Slayer
SI:7 Slayer, Minion, designed by Juan Calle first released in August 2026 in the set Escape from Violet Hold.
7 Slayer would mainly benefit a dedicated Stealth or aggressive Tempo Rogue deck that can reliably field several Stealthed minions and attack with them before they are removed, since its +2/+2 effect creates strong snowballing pressure; however, it is too slow and conditional for most Rogue lists because a 3-mana minion that must survive and relies on other Stealth minions provides little immediate value. In decks seeking a stronger payoff, `Sinstone Graveyard` is generally better because it creates immediate board pressure and scales more reliably, while `Edwin, Defias Kingpin` or other efficient tempo threats are preferable in non-Stealth Rogue decks. SI:7 Slayer should see play only if the format supports a genuinely cohesive Stealth package; otherwise, it is a niche build-around card rather than a generally competitive inclusion.
