About Thoughtlace

Thoughtlace, Instant, designed by Mark Poole first released in Aug, 1993 in the set Limited Edition Alpha and was printed exactly in 12 different ways.

This card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on countering or manipulating opponent's spells or permanents, particularly in a blue control deck. However, there are better alternatives such as [[Turn to Frog]] which not only changes the color of a permanent but also reduces its power and toughness, making it a more versatile option. Thoughtlace could see play in specific scenarios where the color change is crucial, but overall, it may not be a top choice in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks.
